Ex-Wayne State professor served in World War II

Sidney Dillick, a retired Wayne State University professor and dean, died Jan. 26 from heart failure. Mr. Dillick joined Wayne State in 1964 and served as a professor and dean in its School of Social Work (SSW) retiring in 1985. He was responsible for starting the undergraduate program for SSW and authored a text used in many schools of social work, "Community Organization for Neighborhood Development, Past and Present."
